Dana and Pat May signed the lease for Loggers Landing in September, 2017.
The building is owned by VFW Post 3213 and they hold their monthly meetings on
Mondays in the dining room at 7:00.
Pat grew up and raised a family in the Tenino area. He was logger for close to 30 years before becoming a people pleaser at Lake Mayfield Resort and then Harbormaster at Home Port Marina in Pleasant Harbor, Brinnon. Dana has spent her entire career in the restaurant business, waitressing, cooking, managing and being a human resource director for a large chain. Dana owns Corbett Fish House in Portland and Vancouver as well as Hawthorne Fish house in Portland. From age 16 to the present she has continually worked in restaurants, the only gap being an 8 year break to raise her son.
Dana and Pat met in 2015 at the GeoDuck in Brinnon. They brought their boat from Portland to Home Port Marina in August of 2017. Dana was planning on semi-retiring when they heard about Loggers Landing being available and, well, the rest is history. Dana and Pat feel very fortunate to be part of the Quilcene community and intend to make Loggers Landing, once again, a very vibrant part of it.
